What the MyCadre platform and the Cadre Discord bot collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. Short version: we use your data to run your cadre, and nothing else.
Account data: your name, email, and team membership, used to sign you in and route you to your workspace. We store only a salted hash of your password, never the password itself.
Workspace data: the content your team creates in MyCadre (onboarding progress, recognition, pipeline and lead records, contests, and settings).
Discord data: when the Cadre bot is in a server, we store the server (guild) id, the channels we post to, and lightweight member records (a Discord display name and id) needed to power welcomes, recognition, and the leaderboard. We don't read message content; the bot doesn't request the Message Content intent.
Billing data: handled by Stripe. We store a customer reference and subscription status, never full card numbers.
We use your data only to operate MyCadre for you: to run your workspace, post to your Discord, send onboarding nudges, process billing, and provide support. That's the whole list.
We don't sell your data. We don't share one tenant's data with another. We don't use your data to train AI models across customers. Optional AI features (such as Lantern) send only the minimal context needed to generate a suggestion, and only when you have that feature enabled.
Each team is isolated at the database level with Postgres row-level security, so one tenant can't read another's data. Integration credentials you connect are encrypted per tenant. Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS) and data is encrypted at rest. See the Security page for more.
We rely on a small set of trusted providers for the infrastructure behind MyCadre: hosting and database, billing, transactional email, and the Discord bot platform. They process data on our behalf, under their own terms, and only to provide their part of the service. If you choose to sign in with Google, Google handles that step.
We keep your data for as long as your workspace is active. You can request an export or deletion of your data at any time. Removing the Cadre bot from a Discord server stops further collection from that server. To exercise any of these, contact us.
